2019 Annual Flying Star Forecast (Part 1)

Being chased by numerous emails from many of my clients and faithful followers of this blog site, I am now going to post the annual flying stars forecast for the coming Chinese New Year (2019 己亥年, year of the pig) as requested!

In 2019, the number 1 star (一白贪狼星) will fly to the West sector; the number 2 star (二黑巨門星) will fly to the NE sector. The number 3 star (三碧祿存星) will fly to the South sector. The number 4 star (四绿文昌星) will fly to the North sector. The number 5 star (五黄廉貞星) will fly to the SW sector. The number 6 star (六白武曲星) will fly to the East sector. The number 7 star (七赤破軍星) will fly to the SE sector. The number 8 star (八白左輔星) will fly to the center palace, and the number 9 star (九紫右弼星) will fly to the NW sector.

Based on the above chart, we can see that the center palace, West and NW are the auspicious sectors, while the SW, NE, and South are the inauspicious sectors in the coming new year. Therefore, proper Feng Shui cure and enhancement must be placed at these sectors in every home especially where the main entrance, bedroom, and the kitchen locate; to ensure that we can enjoy a prosperous, safe and healthy 2019. I will list below my forecast and Feng Shui recommendation for each sector:

1. East sector

In 2019, the number 6 star will locate in the East sector. This star will bring money and promotional luck especially those who work in the military or law enforcement profession. Since its metal element will clash with the wood element of the East sector, any wrong Feng Shui placement will create accidents and misfortune. Nonetheless, when useful Feng Shui enhancements properly enhance this sector, the number 6 metal star will certainly bring career and money luck.

My recommendation: avoid too many green plants, fish tank or water feature at this sector of since water will dissipate the metal energy of the number 6 metal star. Preferably, placing metal element object in the East sector will enhance its positive chi, for example, 6 old Chinese coins, metal wind chime or yellow crystal ball.

2. South sector

In 2019, the number 3 wood star will fly to the South sector. This star will cause conflicts and argument, and its effect will further enhance by the fire element of the South sector. If the main entrance and bedroom located in this sector, this will cause an argument between husband and wife, and disobedience from the children at home and poor school works.

My recommendation: If the entrance door locates in the South sector, you can place a red color floor mat. Also, fire element objects will help to dissipate the wood energy of the number 3 star. My personal favorite feng shui cure is a red color light (it must be on 24/7).

On the other hand, try to avoid green plants or fish tank in this sector because this will enhance the energy of the number 3 star,

3. West sector

In 2019, the number 1 water star will fly to the West sector. This star will bring romance, noble-man, and career luck, and it will enhance by the metal element of the West sector. If your main entrance is in this area, it is vital to apply appropriate Feng Shui enhancement to improve your career and money luck especially for my those who are investing in the stock market, while if the bedroom is in this area, then it will bring romance luck in 2019.

My recommendation: I will suggest placing water element objects in this sector to enhance the number 1 star. For example, put one (1) black color stone in a round metal container filled with water.

4. North sector

In 2019, the number 4 wood star will fly to the North sector. This star will bring scholar and noble-man luck. Its energy will enhance the water element of the North sector. Therefore, if proper Feng Shui enhancement place in this area, you will enjoy good scholar luck and harmonious family relationship. On the other hand, try to avoid sharp metal objects in this area as metal will destroy wood.

My recommendation: Again my personal favorite Feng Shui item is four (4) luck bamboo stems in a vase filled with water. Also, placing a scholar pagoda (文昌塔) will also help.

5. NE sector

In 2019, the number 2 earth star will fly to the NE sector. Since the element of NE is earth, it will further enhance the energy of this star which will bring severe illness and poor health, i.e., the ill effect of this star is potent in 2019. It is imperative we have proper and practical Feng Shui cure in placed in the NE sector of every home. Also, avoid significant construction work in this area, if the work is vital, then make sure to use an auspicious day and time to commence the action.

My recommendation:

Avoid fire element objects and colors in this area. The most effective Feng Shui cure is to use metal element objects to dissipate the earth energy of the number 2 earth star. For example, eight (8) old Chinese coins, metal wind chime or metal Chi Lin or Wu Lo will be sufficient to do the job. If your entrance door, study or kitchen is in the NE area of the house, you can add a grey or white color doormat.

6. SE sector

In 2019, the number 7 metal star will fly to the SE sector. This star will bring conflict, lawsuits, and accidents especially automobile accidents. Its metal element will clash with the wood element of the SE sector which is not auspicious. Thus proper Feng Shui remedies are required in 2019 to avoid any of the above misfortune.

My recommendation:

The most effective countermeasure is to apply water element objects to dissipate the metal chi of the number 7 star. My suggestion is to place a container of water in this area (make sure that the water is always full and clean). If the main entrance door is in this area, you can use a black color doormat.

7. Center Palace

In 2019, the number 8 earth star will fly to the center palace. Its energy will further enrich by the earth element of the center palace. This star will bring good money luck, great fortune, and property luck.

My recommendation:

To enhance the likely promising effect of the number 8 star, I will recommend putting the red color crystal, fortune wheel (風水輪), red color light or carpet in the center area of the house. Furthermore, do not place any green plant in this area as this will destroy its earth energy.

8. NW sector

In 2019, the number 9 fire star will fly to the NW sector. This star will bring marriage, fertility luck, and happy events.

My recommendation:

I will suggest putting red color or fire element Feng Shui objects in this area to enrich the effectiveness of the number 9 star. For example, red or purple color crystals, nine (9) red color flowers. Also, placing broadleaf plants in this area will also help.

One critical advice is the 2019 tai shui (太岁星) star is also in the NW sector. Therefore, major construction or renovation work in this area is not advised.

9. SW sector

In every year forecast, I will always discuss the number 5 earth star at the very end to emphasize its importance because it is considered the most vicious and potent star under Xuan Kong Flying Star Feng Shui. Everywhere it will bring grave misfortune and accidents, cancer diseases or even death! It is for this reason why I am always telling people and my clients that proper Feng Shui cure must be applied to counteract this vicious star in their homes every year.

My recommendation:

In 2019, the number 5 earth star will fly to the SW sector. First of all, it is vital to avoid significant construction in this area and if it is inevitable and essential, always use an auspicious day and time to commence the work.

Avoid putting red color yellow color objects (especially in a total number of five) in this area. Under the guidelines of Xuan Kong Flying Star feng shui, the most effective remedies for the number 5 star is to apply metal element to dissipate its earth energy.

Therefore, the most effective Feng Shui cure that I have been using in my own house is hanging six (6) old Chinese coins in this area. Some masters will recommend metal clock or metal bell. Also, grey or white color doormat will also help if the main entrance is in the SW sector of the house. Another critical thing to keep in mind is this area must well maintain, bright and dry because a wet, dark and cluttered place will act as the enhancing “luan tao” or physical environment for the number 5 earth star. Lastly, any Feng Shui wheel or fish tank (with motor and pump) is not appropriate in this area, because the motion and activity will agitate the influence of the number 5 star.

Friendly Tips

1. These are some of the auspicious days that are promising to apply the above feng shui enhancements/cures before the Chinese New Year which starts on Feb 4, 2019

- Jan 24 (not suitable for people born in the year of the rabbit).

- Feb 1 ( not ideal for people born in the year of the pig).

2. I want to reiterate that it is critical that every home must apply feng shui cure for the 2019 annual number 2 and 5 flying star, which locate at the NE and SW sector respectively, primarily that your main entrance door is at these two areas.

3. Keep in mind that the effects of the annual flying stars are only good for the current year, therefore, it does not require extensive or massive feng shui remedies. To me, a ribbon of six (6) old Chinese is more than enough to counteract the vicious number 5 yellow earth star.
