Feng Shui Cures for Coronavirus and Omicron Variant

I guess you are amazed at its predictions and accuracy regarding the Covid-19 virus. Its dead-on pinpoint identification of the virus started at Wu Han, China; also, the first infected city in the US, which is New York also located in the Eastern Part of the United States, where the vicious 2020 number 5 earth star establishes!

As we are now experiencing the dire situations in many countries in the world, I will like to offer some Feng Shui recommendations to deal with this health issue. Of course, we must also follow the straight guidelines of stay home, practice social distancing, wearing masks in public places and regularly washing hands. Most likely, many of us are ordering to stay at home or work at home; therefore, I believe it is of utmost importance that we have every cure is placed to protect our family and loved ones.

To prove my point, I want to share a true story of myself, a few days ago, I was at the hospital ER with chest pain’s complaint, and after some blood tests and chest x-ray, I was instructed to do a Covid-19 test and ordered to self-isolated at home for 14 days and wait for the result. Today I was notified that my test result is negative! In this context, I firmly believe that the feng shui cure that I applied has done wonder on me and therefore, I want to reiterate the importance of making sure that proper feng shui remedies in place in every house!

Anyway, here are some of the critical cures that I want to recommend to my readers, and if you have a question or want to share some success stories, please email me directly and share it with other readers here, OK?

1. Since the vicious [5,7] combination, which induces the respiratory illness is at the center of the Ba Gua, I will recommend placing a container of clean water at the center of the house as the remedy.

2.  In the East area of the house, I recommend metal element objects like six old Chinese coins, metal wind chime, etc., especially if this is the entrance area of the house in which gold or grey coloured carpet/floor mat is a good idea. Also, make sure that this area is well lighted, clean and dry.

3. In the South area of the house, I suggest eight old Chinese coins and a metal Wu-Lo put in place. Also, putting a ceramic cow figurine in this area is critical, especially if this is your bedroom or sitting area. Again, make sure that this area is clean, bright and no water leakage.

4. In the West area of the house, remove any sharp metal objects like knives and kept a container of clean water in this area.

5. In every bedroom, put eight small smooth stone pebbles in a circular bowl at the SW corner for a female occupant, and the NW corner for a male occupant.

6. Lastly, print out the I-Ching symbol that I showed below to put it in the picture frame, place it facing the entrance area. Also, you can print another one, fold it into a triangular shape and put it inside your wallet.

To conclude, I hope things will improve as I have predicted in my 2020 annual flying stars' forecast, i.e. This epidemic will be under control around June!

Corona Virus and Feng Shui (2020 annual flying stars' forecast Part 2)

At the time when I was writing the 2020 annual flying star's forecast Part 2, a severe event happened in the world that made me stop my work because I was shocked by the accuracy of the forecast that I am going to present. Throughout my many years of practicing Xuan Kong Flying Stars Feng Shui, it never ceased to amaze me with its power and accuracy and this time, it is really incredibly dead on!

In 2020, the annual number 7star flies to the center palace and it interacts with the number 5 base star, forming [5,7] combination. Since this is an untimely star [失運星], this implies conflicts and fights (warfare). Therefore, we can expect many serious political conflicts between many countries in the world. Another critical factor is the number 7 metal star is associated with the mouth, throat and lung of our body; this combination calls for epidemic disease in relationship with the respiratory system.

According to the "big tai chi" in authentic Chinese feng shui, China is located at the center palace, that is to say, China may face the outbreak of epidemic virus disease. Since the vicious 2020 number 5 earth star is located at the East, that means it will mostly start in the Eastern part of China. Lo and behold, currently China is precisely facing the outbreak of coronavirus disease, and it starts at the city of Wuhan (Eastern part of China) and killing 908 people and rising, and now starting to spread to other Eastern provinces and cities in China; and also different parts of the world especially those countries like Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, USA!

My recommendations

Based on my observations, I believe the dire situation shall improve in the Spring months, for example, the discovery of a cured vaccine etc. and the epidemic will be under controlled in the Summer months. Meanwhile, to protect ourselves and our loved ones, besides following all the preventive protocol, like wearing masks in public places, wash hands frequently, intake a lot of vitamin C to enhance our immune system. 

I recommend every household to put a container/cup of clean water at the center of the house and make sure that proper feng shui cure is in place at the South area of the house (refer to my 2020 annual flying stars' forecast Part 1); and most importantly this area shall be clean, dry and properly maintained.

Now let us continue to the 2020 annual flying stars' forecast for different parts of the world:

1. The United States of America

Since the USA is located in the East, it will be affected by the vicious 2020 number 5 star. Since the East is associated with the eldest son and leader. Therefore, I am afraid that some of the political leaders will have serious health issues or even death!

Since the number 5 earth star is related to significant illness and accidents, it implies that the USA will experience serious maritime and air accident; and also, epidemic disease in a relationship with the respiratory system. At the time of this writing, currently there are a few cases of coronavirus virus reported in the USA and based on the above things will get worst during the Summer months.

Furthermore, because of the USA just went through an unsuccessful impeachment of President Donald Trump and this is also the election year, the conflicts between the President and its Republican Party with the Democratic Party will cause major divisive of the country. I foresee the current robust economy and the stock market will experience significant setbacks. So, be careful when you are investing in the housing and stock market especially during the early part of the year!

2. Japan

Since Japan is located at the East from China, it will also be affected by the 2020 number 5 star. This implies the possibilities of epidemic diseases like the novel coronavirus and natural disasters, especially during the Summer months. 

Be careful when visiting Japan of the likelihood typhoon and earthquake.

In general, the number 5 star will cause retraction of the property and stock market.

3. Taiwan

Technically speaking, Taiwan is also located at the East from China, it is also affected by the 2020 number 5 star. Therefore, it will face the same issues as Japan did. I can foresee that its economy will suffer a further setback due to its hostile "Taiwan's independence from China" policy. 

With the influence of the vicious number 5 star, there is the possibility of military conflicts with China, especially during the Summer months.  

4. Canada

Canada locates in the NE from China, where the 2020 number 1 star is located. The number 1 star is considered a money star; therefore, things will improve from last year's downfall, which is affected by the number 2 star. I predict the housing market will grow after March this year.  As to the stock market, things will improve in the latter part of the year due to the effects of the recovery trade relationship between China.

Relatively speaking, the current coronavirus outbreak will not as severe as other countries.

I predict that the legal cases regarding the CFO of Huawei will settle eventually, the trade between Canada and China will resume as usual, and this will help improve the farm industry and economy of Canada at the end of the year.

5. South East Asia

Southeast Asia locates at the SW from China, where the 2020 number 4 star is located. I predict that the conflicts between Pakistan and India will lessen and this will help to improve the economy of both countries.

However, under the Xuan Kong Flying Star Feng Shui, the number 2 Period Eight star (2004- 2023) locates at the SE sector, i.e. this is the sector where major natural disasters and epidemic disease area during this period, therefore, I will caution travelling to Indonesia, India, Pakistan or Bangladesh especially during the Summer months.

6. Australia and New Zealand

The above two countries located in the South from China, which will affect by the 2020 number 2 illness star. I predict that there will outbreak of epidemic diseases and volcano eruptions during the early part of the year.

With the combination with the number 3 Period Star [2,3], I expect Australia will continue its confrontation with the Chinese government regarding trade, and its alliance with the USA and its so-called "Freedom Voyage in the South China Sea" policy.

Since New Zealand is located close to Antarctica, which is affected much by the fire energy, therefore, I will caution people travelling to New Zealand during the early part of the year as there is the opportunity of volcano explosion or forest fire.

7. Middle East

The Middle East locates at the West from China; thus, it is affected by the 2020 annual number 9 star. Although this is an auspicious start, its combination with the Number 1 Period Star, i.e. [1,9], it implies that it is challenging to maintain peach in this territory. 

I predict that conflicts and warfare will continue in 2020, and this will affect the livelihood of the people in this region. 

8. Europe

Europe is also located at the West from China; therefore, it is also affected by the 2020 number 9 fire star. However, since it is located in the cold region and it does not have any underground fossil oil, it will have different effects as the Middle East countries. As a matter of fact, it will enjoy the auspicious chi from the auspicious number 9 star. 

Thus, I predict that its social and economic conditions will improve. It will come out from the influence of the USA and able to build an independent economic body and will become an essential economic region in Period Nine (2024-2043).

9. Russia

Russia located at the NW from China. This year the annual number 8 star flies to this sector. Since this is the most auspicious star in Period Eight, this implies that its economy will recover from the sanction policy by the USA and the European countries, which is further enhanced from the support of China by buying a lot of natural gas, oil and agricultural products.

To conclude, I will attach a symbol from I-Ching and my readers can print it out and put it facing the entrance, or fold it into a triangular shape and put it in the wallet.  Hopefully, this will help to protect you and your loved ones from the coronavirus. Blamed this on Bad Hong Kong's Feng Shui?

Recently I have watched an interesting Youtube video that I want to share with my readers. In essence, this is a conspiracy theory accusing the Chinese Government is using Feng Shui to destroy the prosperity of Hong Kong, causing all the current riots and problems. In which it has been going on for more than half a year and have no quick ending in the new year!

 I do not want to discuss any political matters in this blog site so that I will concentrate on some of its reasoning in Feng Shui aspects.

The chief complaint is the Government put up two recent "symbolic" structures that have been causing all the problems primarily based on the ideas of "luan tao" Feng Shui [巒頭风水].

 The first one is a massive structure used to divert the traffic in the central business district for whatever reason. This structure intends to look like a poisonous serpent head, and the flow of traffic around it looks exactly toxic fume split out from the serpent's mouth (see picture 1).

The second one is the Hong Kong observation wheel at the AIA Vitality Park, located at a prime piece of land facing the Harbor. According to the so-called Feng Shui observation, which referred to as a "pearl" [明珠] (see picture 2 below).

The third structure mentioned in this context is the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Interestingly, many Feng Shui masters in Hong Kong claimed it looks like a turtle [靈龜]. (see picture 3). So, the Feng Shui theory behind the existence of these three massive structures is that it resembled of the phenomenon the poisonous serpent, the turtle is fighting for the "pearl," which causes much havoc and destruction in Hong Kong!

Whether it makes sense or not, I will leave my readers to decide. Here I want to offer my few cents of observation in this discussion.

Technically speaking, we do have the concept of "calling out the symbol and representation" [ 呼形喝象] of a particular landscape formation or a physical form and structure in Feng Shui, which is a fundamental idea in "luan tao" Feng Shui [巒頭凤水]. It contains three elements which are "shape" [形], "meaning" [意], "chi" [氣]. In this case, the traffic diversion structure looks like a poisonous serpent's head ("shape," "meaning"). The flow of the traffic in front of the structure looks similar to the toxic fume splitting out from the serpent's mouth (" chi").

One thing I want to point out is the above based on imaginative and abstract observations by the Feng shui masters. A typical example of this idea is the formation of the Four Celestial Animals, i.e. green dragon on the left [左青龍], white tiger on the right [右白虎], red phoenix at the front [前朱雀], the black turtle at the rear [后玄武].

In my personal opinion, I believe that the observation wheel does have some Feng Shui implications in this instance. The moving of the wheel represents the chi is scattered, which considered not auspicious. 2020 Annual Flying Stars' Forecast

Every year-end, I have been asked by many of my blog site's followers regarding the annual flying stars' forecast because it has maximum effects on the feng shui of the house. Therefore, presenting below is 2020 annual flying stars feng shui analysis, hopefully, by following my recommendations that all my readers enjoy a much prosperous and healthy new year!

Firstly, in 2020, the "Taisui" [太歲] locate in the North, and the "Suipo" [歲破] star positioned in the South sector.  If your home or office has renovation works done at these areas in 2020, it requires appropriate feng shui measures to prevent ill fortune and accidents, such as choosing an auspicious day and time to commence the works. East sector [正東方]

In 2020, the annual number 5 yellow star [五黃廉貞星] flies to the East. This star considers as one of the most vicious stars which bring severe effects in terms of health, career and wealth luck. Therefore, significant building or renovation works shall avoid preventing illness, severe accidents and misfortune., or even death! If your main entrance, bedroom or kitchen is located in this area, and there is the corresponding external physical "sha chi" [形煞] (for example, a sharp corner from buildings or major construction or digging works), this year requires a particular feng shui cure to counteract its effects.

My recommendations:

Fortunately, since the element of the East is wood, it dissipates some energy of the number 5 yellow star. Nonetheless, this area must avoid too many activities, do not put too many red or yellow colour items. Like I have been recommending in all my previous forecasts, the most effective cure is to hang six old Chinese coins in this area. (By the way, you can reuse the coins that you have used for the previous year if you have clean the coins with slat water and dry under the sun for 24 hours) If the East is the entrance area in the house, I suggest putting a grey or white colour carpet under the door and hang a metal wind chime or copper clock in the entrance area as a feng shui remedy.

South sector [正南方]

In 2020, the annual number 2 black star [二黑巨門土星] locate at the South. Since the element of the South is fire, it further enhances the energy of the number 2 earth star. This star causes serious health problems for the family members, especially the eldest son. Again if your main entrance, bedroom door, bed and kitchen located in this area, an effective feng shui cure is paramount.

My recommendations:

In 2020, avoid red colour or fire element objects in this area of the house or office. My hearty recommendation is to hang 8 old Chinese together with a metal Wu-lo in this area to counteract the ill effects of this star.

West sector [正西方]

In 2020, the annual number 9 purple star [九紫右弼星] flies to the West. This star brings happiness, marriage, people and wealthy luck, which also means that this is the romance [桃花位] area in 2020. Therefore, it is auspicious to use as entrance, sitting, sleeping or office area.

My recommendations:

I suggest putting a "Chi-lin" [麒麟] in this area to promotes its effects. Also, bright golden red colour objects or red light is useful feng shui arrangement in this area. I recommend adding a broadleaf green plant to enhance the number 9 fire star. If any of my readers seeking some romance luck, putting 9 numbers of red flowers in the West corner of the bedroom room help! 

North sector [正北方]

In 2020, the annual number 3 jade star [三碧祿存星] locate at the North. Since the element of North is water, it enhances the energy of the number 3 wood star. This star causes arguments, conflicts or even lawsuits. If the bedroom located in this area, the possibility of quarrels between husband and wife is imminent.

My recommendations:

Avoid any fish tank, water features like fountain and green plants in this area because water enhances the number 3 wood star.  An effective cure that I used in many of my clients is a red colour light (must be on 24/7). If your entrance door locates in the North area of the house, putting a red or purple colour carpet under the door is a good measure.

North-East sector [東北方]

In 2020, the annual number 1 white star [一白貪狼星] flies to the North East. Under the Xuan Kong Flying Star feng shui, the area where the number 1 water star located is considered a "peach-blossom" position [挑花位]. Thus, if any of my readers want to enhance their romance luck in 2010, an appropriate feng shui arrangement does the trick! This star favours career, fame and side-money [偏財] fortune. Unfortunately, since the element of the North East is earth, it causes conflicts with the number 1 water star, consequently, affecting its effects.

My recommendations:

If you want to attract romance luck, you can put a bottle or cup of water in the North-East corner of the bedroom. One useful enhancement is putting one dark pebble in a circular container with water. Also, putting metal objects like six old Chinese coins in this area also enhances the effects of the number 1 water star. Lastly, this is also the auspicious area for fish tank or water feature in 2020.

North-West sector [西北方]

In 2020, the annual number 8 white star [八白左辅星] flies to the North West. Among the nine stars in Xuan Kong Flying Star feng shui, this star is the most auspicious and brings tremendous money, fertility and purchase of property luck. Since the North West represents the male household in the family, it implies that he enjoyed a very prosperous new year. Another important note is that the metal element of the North West enhances the number 8 earth star [宮星相生]. In other words, North West considered the wealth sector of the house in 2010. Congratulations if your main entrance door located in this area!

My recommendations:

To activate the energy of the number 8 earth star, I recommend putting a purple crystal ball or red carpet in this area. Avoid green plants and clutter, and keep it clean and bright in this area. Activities and movements are also appropriate; for example, putting a piece of electric equipment in this area is also a good idea. One caution is to avoid fish tan or water wheel/fountain in this area as water destroys the earth element of the number 8 star.  

South-West sector [西南方]

In 2020, the annual number 4 green star [四绿文昌星] flies to the South West. This star governs wisdom, career and scholar luck. If possible, by arranging the child study desk facing this direction brings great study and examination luck.  Besides, putting an appropriate cure in this area improves career, noble people [貴人] and promotion luck.

My recommendations:

Unfortunately, since the element of the South West is earth, it destroys the wood element of the number 4 wood star, which reduces its effects. Therefore, effective feng shui cure and enhancement require in this area in 2020.

I recommend putting four bamboo plants in a container filled with clean water and a metal feng shui pagoda [文昌塔] in this area as a feng shui arrangement. Since water enhances the wood, therefore, houses with South West or North facing the entrance enjoy most of the auspicious effects from this star in 2020.

South-East sector [東南方]

In 2020, the annual number 6 white star flies to the South-East. This star brings side-money luck, great people luck, promotional luck, especially those working in the military or disciplined profession. Nevertheless, the element of South-East is that wood creates conflicts with the metal element of the number 6 star. Proper feng shui arrangements bring favourable results while an incorrect arrangement brings misfortune. Be aware!

My recommendations:

The most important thing to keep in mind is avoiding green plants; fish tank in this area as water dissipates the metal element of the number 6 star. I recommend hanging one or three-string of five old Chinese coins [五帝錢] in this area. Center Palace [中官]

In 2020, the annual number 7 purple star [七赤破軍星] locates at the center palace. This star represents the loss of fortune, breakup of a relationship or partnership, accidents and warfare, since the element of the center is the earth, which enriches the metal element of the number 7 metal star, thus this favour those work in the art and entertainment profession in 2020.

My recommendations:

Avoid putting sharp objects or displays like knife, sword and scissors in this area. Also, always maintain this area clean and free of debris. I recommend putting a pair of metal "Chi lin" [麒鱗] in the center of the house as the proper feng shui arrangement in 2020.

My friendly advice

Firstly, I want to emphasize that an effective feng shui cure does not need to be massive or overdone. The principle of "less is more" shall apply. Secondly, under feng shui practice, the 2020 new year starts on Feb 5, 2020 [立春日]. Therefore, all the feng shui cures/enhancements for the 2020 annual flying stars must complete before this date.

Lastly, I wish all my readers and followers a Prosperous, Healthy and Happy 2020, the year of the mice [庚子鼠年]!

2019 Annual Flying Star Forecast (Part 2)

In this second part of my forecast, I am going to provide some of my brief forecast on different countries of the world based on the concept of “big tai chi” where China positioned at the center palace of the natal chart:

1. China – since the auspicious annual number 8 star located in the center, it is considered as “imprisoned,” which indicates that its economic development will be hindered by the US – Chian trade war. Things will only improve in the later part of the year. The stock and property market will have turbulence, especially in February and August.

There is also the possibility of food poisoning and digestive diseases.

With the combination with the number 8 Period star [8,8] combination, China will have noticeable improvement and positive results in its the war against corruption both in the public and the private sector.

2. Taiwan – it is located in the SE sector where the annual number 7 star positioned. It has formed a [7,7] combination with the Period star, which indicates the possibility of conflicts, fire hazards, and war. Therefore, based on the current situations where its president is siding with the US government to putting pressure on China on Taiwan’s independent proposal. If things not handled carefully, I am afraid that it will cause military conflicts in this area!

3. The USA – The US is positioned in the East sector from China, this year the annual number 6 star flies to this sector. It formed a [6,6] combination with the Period star which brings lawsuits (impeachment may be and the Boeing 737 Max clash), loss of life and accidents based on human factors. It also reflects that the policy of President Donald Trump will cause severe tearing apart of the country. The overall economy will slide southwards due to the unclear factors of the trade war with China and the Nordic countries.

The annual number 6 star will also form [6,3] combination with the base star, this reflects the possibilities of small scale military repression in Iran, North Korea, China south sea and Taiwan Straits.

Luckily, there is no indication that it will turn into major military conflicts. Another possibility is Donal Trump will have operation procedure due to health issues. Nonetheless, looking fast forward, things will not be that promising for the United States next year (2020), due to the fact that the vicious 2020 number 5 star will fly to the East! 

4. Japan – Like the USA, Japan is also located in the East sector of China based on the “big tai chi” map. With the influence of the annual number 6 star, this indicates that its government will ambitiously increase its military spending to improve its international image. Japan will also benefit from the trade war between the USA and China especially its investment in China.

On the other hand, to a certain extent, the effects of the annual number 6 star may cause the loss of its F35A fighter jet during a training flight.

5. North Korea and Korea – Both of these countries located in the NE sector from China, where the annual number 2 illness star is positioned. This indicates there is a good chance of epidemic diseases. 

Most likely the North Korea leader will have health issues. Also, it also suggests that the “zero nuclear” agreement with the USA will have difficulty carrying out and the USA sanctions still hinder its economy.

With the annual 2 star combined with the number 8 base star [2,8] in this sector, it implies that there will be an improvement of the relationship between North Korea and Korea.

6. Canada -  Canada is also located in the NE sector. Therefore it's economy will see a retraction. Furthermore, with the influence of the annual number 2 star, its leader has caught between the trade war between China and the United States, and because of its involvement in the oppression of the Chinese corporation Huawei, it will suffer a tremendous economic loss due to the punishment response from the Chinese government. Nonetheless, there is a possibility that the detention of Huawei’s CFO situation will settle around May, then it's economic conditions will improve in the latter part of the year after spending a lot of the effort to enhance the strategic relationship with China.

There is the possibility of epidemic disease outbreak in the summer months. I will caution the parents to have their children vaccinated as urged by the government just in case.

7. South East Asia – This part of the world located in the  SW sector where the vicious annual number 5 star is located. It forms the [2,5] combination which implies the loss of life. My concern is there may be some continuation of the tsunami which hit Indonesia in December last year. Therefore, I will caution those who will visit Indonesia, Philippine, Thailand, and Malazia to be careful when they are around the sea and beaches.

8. Australia and New Zealand – Both countries positioned in the South sector of China where the annual number 3 star located. Since this star will bring conflicts, this has created the situation that both countries are involved with the oppression of Huawei Global 5G business, which resulting of retaliation action from the Chinese government by canceling the import of metal mineral, coal, and agricultural products from Australia, which has a severe effect on its economy and employment market. Nonetheless, I can foresee things will improve in the latter part (September)of the year.

9. The Middle East – These countries positioned in the West sector of China. This year, the annual number 1  water star flies to this sector. Since the Middle East countries located in the hot zone, it produces an effect of conflict between fire and water; which implies that the extremist military group will military conflicts to control the region as the United States announced that it would withdraw its military presence in the area. Therefore, I will caution my readers to be careful when planning to visit this part of the world.

10. Europe – Europe also positioned in the West sector from China. Since its weather is more in the cold zone, its economy will anticipate improvement after April as enhanced by the number 1 water star. Also, the demonstration of the people in Europe will subside around September this year. Also, there is the possibility that the Europian countries will face another wave of the refugee crisis from the Middle East. Despite the above problems, its economy will start to recover.

11. Russia – Russia positioned in the North sector of China, this year the number 4 star flies to this sector. Since this is a wood element star, it will enhance by the water element of the North. Thus, it will enjoy some economic improvement even Russia. Even tough facing strong sanctions from The United States and the European Union. Its economy will further enhance by the exporting of oil, natural gas, and agricultural products and advanced technology to China.

2019 Annual Flying Star Forecast (Part 1)

Being chased by numerous emails from many of my clients and faithful followers of this blog site, I am now going to post the annual flying stars forecast for the coming Chinese New Year (2019 己亥年, year of the pig) as requested!

In 2019, the number 1 star (一白贪狼星) will fly to the West sector; the number 2 star (二黑巨門星) will fly to the NE sector. The number 3 star (三碧祿存星) will fly to the South sector. The number 4 star (四绿文昌星) will fly to the North sector. The number 5 star (五黄廉貞星) will fly to the SW sector. The number 6 star (六白武曲星) will fly to the East sector. The number 7 star (七赤破軍星) will fly to the SE sector. The number 8 star (八白左輔星) will fly to the center palace, and the number 9 star (九紫右弼星) will fly to the NW sector.

Based on the above chart, we can see that the center palace, West and NW are the auspicious sectors, while the SW, NE, and South are the inauspicious sectors in the coming new year. Therefore, proper Feng Shui cure and enhancement must be placed at these sectors in every home especially where the main entrance, bedroom, and the kitchen locate; to ensure that we can enjoy a prosperous, safe and healthy 2019. I will list below my forecast and Feng Shui recommendation for each sector:

1. East sector

In 2019, the number 6 star will locate in the East sector. This star will bring money and promotional luck especially those who work in the military or law enforcement profession. Since its metal element will clash with the wood element of the East sector, any wrong Feng Shui placement will create accidents and misfortune. Nonetheless, when useful Feng Shui enhancements properly enhance this sector, the number 6 metal star will certainly bring career and money luck.

My recommendation: avoid too many green plants, fish tank or water feature at this sector of since water will dissipate the metal energy of the number 6 metal star. Preferably, placing metal element object in the East sector will enhance its positive chi, for example, 6 old Chinese coins, metal wind chime or yellow crystal ball.

2. South sector

In 2019, the number 3 wood star will fly to the South sector. This star will cause conflicts and argument, and its effect will further enhance by the fire element of the South sector. If the main entrance and bedroom located in this sector, this will cause an argument between husband and wife, and disobedience from the children at home and poor school works.

My recommendation: If the entrance door locates in the South sector, you can place a red color floor mat. Also, fire element objects will help to dissipate the wood energy of the number 3 star. My personal favorite feng shui cure is a red color light (it must be on 24/7).

On the other hand, try to avoid green plants or fish tank in this sector because this will enhance the energy of the number 3 star,

3. West sector

In 2019, the number 1 water star will fly to the West sector. This star will bring romance, noble-man, and career luck, and it will enhance by the metal element of the West sector. If your main entrance is in this area, it is vital to apply appropriate Feng Shui enhancement to improve your career and money luck especially for my those who are investing in the stock market, while if the bedroom is in this area, then it will bring romance luck in 2019.

My recommendation: I will suggest placing water element objects in this sector to enhance the number 1 star. For example, put one (1) black color stone in a round metal container filled with water.

4. North sector

In 2019, the number 4 wood star will fly to the North sector. This star will bring scholar and noble-man luck. Its energy will enhance the water element of the North sector. Therefore, if proper Feng Shui enhancement place in this area, you will enjoy good scholar luck and harmonious family relationship. On the other hand, try to avoid sharp metal objects in this area as metal will destroy wood.

My recommendation: Again my personal favorite Feng Shui item is four (4) luck bamboo stems in a vase filled with water. Also, placing a scholar pagoda (文昌塔) will also help.

5. NE sector

In 2019, the number 2 earth star will fly to the NE sector. Since the element of NE is earth, it will further enhance the energy of this star which will bring severe illness and poor health, i.e., the ill effect of this star is potent in 2019. It is imperative we have proper and practical Feng Shui cure in placed in the NE sector of every home. Also, avoid significant construction work in this area, if the work is vital, then make sure to use an auspicious day and time to commence the action.

My recommendation:

Avoid fire element objects and colors in this area. The most effective Feng Shui cure is to use metal element objects to dissipate the earth energy of the number 2 earth star. For example, eight (8) old Chinese coins, metal wind chime or metal Chi Lin or Wu Lo will be sufficient to do the job. If your entrance door, study or kitchen is in the NE area of the house, you can add a grey or white color doormat.

6. SE sector

In 2019, the number 7 metal star will fly to the SE sector. This star will bring conflict, lawsuits, and accidents especially automobile accidents. Its metal element will clash with the wood element of the SE sector which is not auspicious. Thus proper Feng Shui remedies are required in 2019 to avoid any of the above misfortune.

My recommendation:

The most effective countermeasure is to apply water element objects to dissipate the metal chi of the number 7 star. My suggestion is to place a container of water in this area (make sure that the water is always full and clean). If the main entrance door is in this area, you can use a black color doormat.

7. Center Palace

In 2019, the number 8 earth star will fly to the center palace. Its energy will further enrich by the earth element of the center palace. This star will bring good money luck, great fortune, and property luck.

My recommendation:

To enhance the likely promising effect of the number 8 star, I will recommend putting the red color crystal, fortune wheel (風水輪), red color light or carpet in the center area of the house. Furthermore, do not place any green plant in this area as this will destroy its earth energy.

8. NW sector

In 2019, the number 9 fire star will fly to the NW sector. This star will bring marriage, fertility luck, and happy events.

My recommendation:

I will suggest putting red color or fire element Feng Shui objects in this area to enrich the effectiveness of the number 9 star. For example, red or purple color crystals, nine (9) red color flowers. Also, placing broadleaf plants in this area will also help.

One critical advice is the 2019 tai shui (太岁星) star is also in the NW sector. Therefore, major construction or renovation work in this area is not advised.

9. SW sector

In every year forecast, I will always discuss the number 5 earth star at the very end to emphasize its importance because it is considered the most vicious and potent star under Xuan Kong Flying Star Feng Shui. Everywhere it will bring grave misfortune and accidents, cancer diseases or even death! It is for this reason why I am always telling people and my clients that proper Feng Shui cure must be applied to counteract this vicious star in their homes every year.

My recommendation:

In 2019, the number 5 earth star will fly to the SW sector. First of all, it is vital to avoid significant construction in this area and if it is inevitable and essential, always use an auspicious day and time to commence the work.

Avoid putting red color yellow color objects (especially in a total number of five) in this area. Under the guidelines of Xuan Kong Flying Star feng shui, the most effective remedies for the number 5 star is to apply metal element to dissipate its earth energy.

Therefore, the most effective Feng Shui cure that I have been using in my own house is hanging six (6) old Chinese coins in this area. Some masters will recommend metal clock or metal bell. Also, grey or white color doormat will also help if the main entrance is in the SW sector of the house. Another critical thing to keep in mind is this area must well maintain, bright and dry because a wet, dark and cluttered place will act as the enhancing “luan tao” or physical environment for the number 5 earth star. Lastly, any Feng Shui wheel or fish tank (with motor and pump) is not appropriate in this area, because the motion and activity will agitate the influence of the number 5 star.

Friendly Tips

1. These are some of the auspicious days that are promising to apply the above feng shui enhancements/cures before the Chinese New Year which starts on Feb 4, 2019

- Jan 24 (not suitable for people born in the year of the rabbit).

- Feb 1 ( not ideal for people born in the year of the pig).

2. I want to reiterate that it is critical that every home must apply feng shui cure for the 2019 annual number 2 and 5 flying star, which locate at the NE and SW sector respectively, primarily that your main entrance door is at these two areas.

3. Keep in mind that the effects of the annual flying stars are only good for the current year, therefore, it does not require extensive or massive feng shui remedies. To me, a ribbon of six (6) old Chinese is more than enough to counteract the vicious number 5 yellow earth star.

Is Feng Shui really working for me?

Recently I have received some emails from my readers all voicing their frustration that feng shui is not working for them, even they have already hired feng shui “masters” and applied all the cure that has been "prescribed"! Well, I have decided to share my comments on this blog site for those who are facing the same situation. 

The first significant factor that I want to point out is we must understand the “proper” approach to feng shui. We must approach Feng shui with an attitude of flexibility and open mind, and understand that it is not magic, nor it cannot make us become a millionaire overnight or prevent death! Nonetheless, if we know what we are doing and can apply the appropriate and effective cure, it will undoubtedly improve our situation and reduce the harm to us to a certain degree (催吉避兇).  I have witnessed this effect through many years of personal and professional experience.

The second factor is which type of feng shui that we are following as there are different school of feng shui in the current market. I believe that the so-called "Western" or "New Age" Feng Shui is quite popular among the Western societies where one can find in most of the books and websites and interesting enough this is what most of the complaint of no results stems from my readers. In general practice, the practitioners of this type of feng shui will be mixing up the BSTB (Balck Sect Tantric Buddhist) feng shui and the traditional Chinese feng shui, which has caused much confusion to many people.

Since we are on this topic, I want to share a story that I read somewhere regarding this type of feng shui and let my readers decide whether it make sense or not. Let look at the following floor plan of a house which sold nearly one (1) million dollars; and how a BSTB or Western feng shui practitioner will do when he/she was sent by a client to access the feng shui of the house.

We can see how this practitioner superimposed the "famous" ba bua map (which was invented by the BSTB's founder, Lin Yun) on the floor plan. The result is fascinating! For example, it shows that the entry in the "career" sector, the master bedroom is in the "knowledge” sector and the kitchen is in the "helpful people" sector, etc. Thus, some possible feng shui interpretations of the house will be "they are sleeping on their knowledge," "their career is in the closet," "part of the wealth is missing" and "all the helpful people work in the kitchen"!

Joking aside, I really can not see how the practitioner can know that this house is right for their client? Or in the case that the client is already living in the house, what are the feng shui reasons that has been causing problems to the occupants (most of the time people hired a feng shui practitioner only when they have issues regarding fortune and health).

On the other hand, let us look at the different approach by a practitioner who is practicing the authentic Chinese feng shui (Xuan Kong Flying Stars Feng Shui). First off, he/she will also plot the traditional ba gua on the floor plan (as indicated in the following diagram).

Then he/she will calculate the natal chart (flying star combinations) based on the info of the facing direction of the house and the house’s construction time. Now with this info on hand, the practitioner can provide a detailed assessment to the client. For example, this house is suitable for making money but at the expense of poor health. There would be some conflicts between husband and wife etc. The more proficient and seasoned the practitioner is in analysing the flying star combinations on the natal chart, the more info he/she can relate to the client.

Furthermore, based on the flying pattern of the annual and monthly flying stars, the practitioner can also predict when problems are most likely to occur and how to apply feng shui cure to rectify the situation. So, which practitioner will the client hire to look for an expansive property?

Nonetheless, even though we are able to hire a capable “master” to check the feng shui of the house and follow through with his/her recommendation of feng shui cure, there are still a few important steps/ procedures to follow so that feng shui will work for us which I listed below:

One critical step is we must apply feng shui cure on an auspicious day and time in order to be effective. The reason is by doing the above, the feng shui cure is now being applied in the most optimum and ideal conditions. In feng shui, this is referred as “the combination of auspicious time, place and people luck” (天時, 地利, 人和). Sadly, I have seen many so-called masters have omitted this vital step in their practice! That may be one of the reasons that many people do not see a noticeable improvement in their situation.

Another essential condition that made feng shui work for us is we must “own” it, i.e., we must pay for the feng shui service because feng shui is very personal. In my professional practice, even though I am helping my family members or best friends in feng shui matters, I will insist that they will pay for the service even in a minimal sum like 10 or 20 dollars! This is also the reason why I have received kind donations to my blog site from many readers when they are following my feng shui advice after I have explained this critical concept to them!

The final step for feng shui cure to work for us is we must “activate” the effects of the items that we used, i.e., we have to “induce” the role of the feng shui items through the combination of its physical form and our visualization and positive thinking (呼形喝像). For example, when you are using 8 old Chinese coins to counteract the number 2 illness flying star (as I always recommend in this blog site), you have to visualize that they are sending out golden lights and driving out all the yin energy and make the place bright, clean and healthy.

To conclude, I hope the above will shed some lights regarding the proper execution of applying feng shui cure and help some, my readers, to improve their situation and start to appreciate and benefit from the potent Xuan Kong Flying Star feng shui!
